3 hours horse riding + 5 hour Picnic
It's a picnic ride, best enjoyed in the summer, where we combine horse riding with going for a lake side activities such as swimming and lying down on a towel basking the sun while the horses graze on the grass in your view. You will be shown how to groom, clean hooves and saddle properly and the reasons behind it, as well as how to read horse's body language and what to do once you're in the saddle. This part will take about 30 minutes, then we're ready to set off.
TRAIL MAP

Day by Day
After the introduction, we’ll ride for an hour following the riverbed to Potrerillos Lake. On the way, there are entrances to several valleys and cliffs. If you are lucky you may be able to spot wild animals and the famous Condor bird. The Andean condor is a South American New World vulture and is the only member of the genus Vultur. It is found in the Andes mountains and adjacent Pacific coasts of western South America. We will also do a small trip to the lake itself for the horses to have a drink and wet themselves.
We will tie the horses to graze nearby and you’ll spend a day on the lakefront, sunbathing, enjoying the water, relaxing or maybe going for a walk around the area. There’s a possibility to rent a kayak at the lake if you’d like. We will provide you sunshade, comfortable place to sit, drinks and food.
After 5h, we will start riding back to the property through the river bed with completely different views facing the majestic Andes mountains and the nostalgic feeling of leaving civilisation behind.
